Introduction:

The Writer: (1:1)

The Apostle Paul (1:1). Next to the Lord Jesus, Paul's "footprints" sink deeper on the pages of the New Testament than any of the other Apostles. He wrote (if you include Hebrews) 14 of the Epistles in the New Testament.

The Readers: (1:2)

Churches in the Roman province of Galatia.

This is the only epistle Paul wrote in which he offers no commendation to the readers. Instead, he calls them "foolish and has to correct them of grievous errors that wold corrupt the true gospel message.

The Theme: (5:1)

The Christian's spiritual liberty and freedom in Christ.

The Purpose:

To correct doctrinal error concerning salvation.

Our sincere prayer:

is that this series of messages will help and encourage you to stand strong in the liberty by which Christ hath made us free and to help you proclaim the true gospel of the grace of God.
